Mother Nature provided mild temperatures for Crosslake Winterfest activities last Friday and Saturday in Crosslake. Outdoor activities included human bowling, Winter Olympics, Bocce Ball, ice racing, radar runs and more.

The temperature may have read a frosty 15 below zero Friday, Jan. 29, but that didn't stop Nisswa Elementary School students and staff from spending a day at the beach.

Road Crew edged out of fifth-place at tournament
The Pequot Lakes/Pine River-Backus Road Crew was defeated by Moorhead 39-26 and Detroit Lakes 33-16 and edged by Crosby-Ironton 34-33 on the fifth tie-breaker criteria at the Detroit Lakes tournament on Saturday, Jan. 30.

Revolution's season ends at section meet
The Pequot Lakes Revolution dance team saw its season come to an end Saturday, Jan. 30, at the Section 4AA meet in Alexandria.
